A little bit about me…My name is Amanda, I’m thirty two and married to the love of my life, a handsome man named Joe.  I’m a stay at home mom of an adventurous, independent, creative three year old girl named Lola Marie. I  was a preschool teacher for about ten years and am currently writing a lesson plan book. I love to craft, create and explore art with my daughter. I also worked for Walt Disney World and am obsessed with all things Disney! I hope to merge my passions of creating, crafting, toddler activities and Disney on this blog. Hope you enjoy!

  3. Hi, Amanda. I so enjoy your messyhandslessonplans.com Thank you!
I have a question. I would like to ask your permission to use one of your photos in a book I’m writing about messy active art… I was just going to have some kids do the project when I saw your great photo! It’s the one of your child using a kitchen whisk (among other utensils) to paint. I would be happy to credit you and bring you new followers to your site, if you agree. I would of course send you a free book when the book comes out waaaayyyy next May 2015. If you could email me at maryann@brightring.com, I could explain further or answer questions. I would need your parental permission if the child in the photo is yours, or permission from whomever is the parent. I will also need your full contact info for my records so I can be sure to send the free book. The book will be called “Action Art” and it is going to be so much fun!! Tons of very active art experiences for kids. I look forward to your email. I hope you will be interested in helping out. Thank you, MaryAnn
